Hello Chosen Within the City
Who: The city!
What: Invasion of the Digivolved Yokomon and Koromon
When: June 28-June 30
Where: All over Terminal Tokyo
Just as Ryou predicted it was only several hours later that the first wave of Yokomon and Koromon have made their appearance. Except...they're not Yokomon and Koromon anymore. It appears that they have all Digivolved into various types of Champion Digimon on the way over from Server. None of the various types of Champion seem to even blink if they're attacked. Their first and only objective seems to be to lay ruin to the city and everything in it. At first any attacks will be ignored, but if someone proceeds to continue and attack them, they will attack.
They're difficult to beat, regardless of level. These Digimon may need two people working together even at Champion level. Each Digimon are much more difficult to defeat solo than they would be normally. One thing should easily be certain before the first night is out-- if you want the city to survive then you're going to need to work together.]
[[OOC: So here's how this will work guys-- unless you need a Digimon for various reasons: playing out the first Digivolution, Dark Digivolutions, or a general battle they will be played by you. You may request a modded NPC as per usual, but depending on the number/duties you may be turned down (we'll do our best, though). Keep in mind your character will not have an easy win on their own and that humans will be virtually ineffective.
Most of the NPC Chosen will, unfortunately, have other things they're working on, but you may be able to see a couple helping to beat back the Digimon trying to destroy Terminal Tokyoagain.
There's all sorts of Champion levels to fight so pick and choose: Cyclonemon, Bullmon, Golemon, Harpymon, as well as many others will appear in the city, so don't be afraid to bring in a different kind of Champion Digimon from the DMA.
Remember to mark your subject titles with date, time, and even type of Digimon you will be fighting!]]

Shelterers and Medicers...UNITE!
Within the center it seems oddly peaceful in the city. The walls block out a lot of the sound of the fighting and incoming Digimon, but a glance outside might ruin any peaceable thoughts.
Luckily, at least, there seems to be plenty of food and water.]
[medcenter | any day]
So, when a new swarm of digimon were set to come to the city and attack, Ryan did exactly what he had done the last time and headed over to the convention center. If the last battle was any indication, there would always be people silly enough to try and take on digimon by themselves and they'd need medical attention.
Sure enough, the familiar medcenter was set up, and Ryan fell into place like he'd never left. It was a role, just like any other, and though Ryan might not have been the best suited for the role, he was going to do what he could. He'd learned a lot the last time around.]
medcenter, any day
Normally, she might have at least tried to cheer up anyone who needed it, but instead, she remains fairly sullen and quiet instead.
... Penguinmon is still trying to find the balance between finding this behavior disturbing and being grateful she isn't harassing him or bouncing all over the place.]
[ medical center | open, any day and any time! ]
Salamon is just as curious as he is. The little puppy-like Digimon offers himself up as cuddling material, when he's not fetching various supplies that is.]

I'd like for you to get on your knees now. [ This isn't the same person who was directing him just a few seconds ago, now is it? ]
no subject
Sorry, I didn't catch that.
no subject
I'm just curious if you're a pushover, is all.
open;
Fortunately, she seems to luck out with nothing having approached her so far. Care to change that for her? ]
[medcenter | second day | OPEN TO ALL BUT GIVE ME SOME TIME...]
In Kapuskasing, his mom would ride with him in the ambulance, if she could, or Justin would, if she couldn't.
In Toronto, Ms. Oh went along, worried after he (presumably) accidentally fell from the catwalk. Dallas did too, under the condition that he was worried about his star player. (He probably was; Cam figures Dallas probably considered him a screw-up disappointment.)
Cam was told here, he was taken by Lucette, not an ambulance. Maya went with him. There's a section all set up for those injured, with a few rooms set aside and tarps outside, in case it got to be too many. Luckily, he got a room. Still, there's no doctors. Some Digimon, doing the best they can, some Chosen. Enough people around to get his arm set, apparently. He wasn't awake for it.
When he woke up, he had a blue cast.
That's one thing that's the same.
Now, it's like a reverse of two months ago. Everyone else was hurt and he was fine. Now he's really banged up, laying in a hospital bed, on a (correct) dose of painkillers, just anticipating the lecture's he'll get.
Maya's there a lot, doting and apologetic. He hates that he made her worry, but he's glad she's not hurt. He'll heal, he can handle it; he never wants to see her in pain.
He's resting now. Resting, but holding up the crest that appeared during the battle with his right hand, letting it dangle in front of him. The Crest of Courage. His chest tingles a little.
Courage? Really? Him? He's not that sure.]
no subject
Cam... shit.
[A cast? Was it really that bad?]
What the hell happened?!
no subject
Broken arm. It...doesn't feel all that bad, not with the painkillers.
[. . .]
I, uh, got a cast.
[He raises his left arm to try and show him. ...The shoulder's still sore so he winces. Bad move, kid.]
no subject
How'd ya manage that?
no subject
[It feels more like a scolding than a lecture.]

Cam, you could have died, we don't have any defense against their attacks!
no subject
I, I know. I know, but if I hadn't, she could've died! I tried to get us both out of the way, but I couldn't, so. So. [He sighs.] I had to do something.
no subject
...yeah. I understand. I can't really say I wouldn't have done the same thing.

The memory of Cam almost telling him something during the excursion he had led floats up as well. He has to be honest with his reasoning if he WANTS honesty, he supposes. His words come out in a tumble]
Look... a few years ago... a friend of mine got killed. [Not 'died', or 'was killed'. GOT killed, like he GOT milk from the store. Just something that happened]
He was... walking to met up with me somewhere and just.... wham, gone. Like... he just stopped existing. I was a wreck for along time after that. Blamed myself for a lot of things that weren't really anyone's fault. Stuff that was just shitty luck. HE didn't care if I blamed myself, or if people were sad when he was gone. He was dead.
I didn't see it at the time, cuz... well I was pretty in love with my own misery... but his parents, his sister... then were all in a bad way too. Just one kid dead and all these people fucked up in the aftermath. Do you get what I'm saying?
You... did the right thing, and I'm glad you're okay. Just... please be careful.
no subject
Plop. The blue emblem and tag fell into his spiky mess of a hairstyle.
His Crest, the Crest of Friendship.]
no subject
After fighting alongside Masaru his first thought: oh god spider. He starts swatting at his hair in a panic, making the charm get even more tangled in his now-overgrown spiky mop]
Ahhh, what the hell?! [Dramatic moment: ruined]
no subject
Well.
Maybe it's the painkillers but something wells up inside of him, like an intense need to just say it to just let it out, a hot warm fire in his stomach and squeezing his heart.
That's it. Right then. He's convinced it's time, and Neku should be told.
...Except then the crest.] I-it's a crest.
[A slow smile slides across Cam's face, and he remembers his own.]
