Who: Everyone taking part in the Adventure Time! Event.
What: Chosen trying to find their way around the changed File Island.
When: August 1st - 3rd
Where: File Island

Early in the morning, wherever they are, Chosen are tormented by data streams. They aren't very accurate data stream, so they may miss. But they ones who are hit by them will find themselves on some part of File Island, and they'll find themselves closed off from the outside world.

They'll find video and audio recordings don't work. They'll find, if they've been to the island, that some places may not appear like they always have. They'll find that this isn't quite the File Island as it was before.

Wherever they are on the island, whoever they run into, something will be constant: their digivices will blink, pointing them like a compass toward File Island's center, Infinity Mountain.

It's time to go and see what that's about.

[ooc: This will be the catch-all log for the event! Below will be threads of all the places, both basic and specific, that your characters will be able to go. The last thread will be for the Infinity Mountain event endgame, and though your characters can arrive there early, it will take place on day three of the event.

NPCs will drift through the threads, depending on where you are. For the purposes of this event, if you are not okay with NPC interaction, please say so in your thread, for example if you and someone else have a non-NPC thread idea. Otherwise, all threads are open to NPC intervention, though not all will receive it. Please also mark which day your threads take place on. And remember, have fun! The map and the ooc info can help with location issues.]

[The sound of heavy footsteps can be heard several blocks away. And they're getting closer. And closer. The closer they get, the more the ground shakes around you. But there's no way to tell who or what these steps belong to.]

[Fluttershy jumps; from the voices, from the thundering footsteps, from everything.]

Wh-what...?

[Meanwhile, Choco's heard a familiar name, and he's scanning the area looking for who said-name belongs to. He's heard the footsteps too, and he'd like a little help if he needed to protect Fluttershy.

Once he spots others, he quickly catches the familiar green figure.]

Fluttershy, look...! It's Beastboy! [He jumps in the air, flapping his ears to get some attention.] Beastboy!

[thescaronhisface]

[The heavy footfalls get Kovu a bit worried before he has a chance to reply to Beastboy's greeting.]

That...doesn't sound good.

[He turns to face the other direction when he hears Beastboy's name called from...wait, is that another Lopmon?]

...There's more than one of you?

Is there only one lion?

...Point.

[He dashes over to Beastboy, knowing that whatever that big thing is, they don't stand a chance against it unless they're in a group. Of course, not being able to see it isn't helping his heart thumping in his chest.]

[changelingdude]

[As the rumbling and stomping foot steps get closer Beastboy is thrown off balance and Rita grabs his belt to keep him from falling over.]

Aw dude come on...we just got here.

N-now there's no reason to panic...it could be friendly!

When have we EVER been that lucky? Come on dudes. WE'RE COMING FLUTTERSHY!

[And he sets off at an awkward scrambling dash thrown off each time the ground shakes with Rita hot on his heels hoping to lead Kovu and his partner to Fluttershy and Choco before whatever's coming arrives...just in case.]

[Closer and closer. The footsteps are drawing even closer. The ground is shaking even more.

Around the corner now. There's something just around that building...

The being that comes into sight looks like a giant stuffed teddy bear. And...are those balloons it's holding? When it sees the Chosen and their partners, it stops and the ground stops shaking. It simply stares at the strangers in the street.]

[Fluttershy freezes, her eyes wide as she stares up at the giant bear. Really, it's not the bear that scares her - it's actually kind of cute - but she's worried what it might do.

Meanwhile, Choco is trying to get her to move.]

C'mon, Fluttershy...!

[thescaronhisface]

[Kovu sprints alongside Beastboy, half tripping a couple times on his human legs. He's used to walking on them now, but he hasn't done much running. Lopmon keeps pace just fine, though.

However, when the huge Digimon comes into view, Kovu reels.]

Wh...what is that...?

[He's used to being dwarfed by elephants, but this thing's the size of one and as tall as a giraffe.]

Keep running, stupid!

[Kovu shakes his head real quick and takes off again. They're almost with the other guys now.]

[changelingdude]

[Beastboy doesn't slow, he can't, not till he's skidded to a stop at Fluttershy's side taking a defensive stance, ready to grab her and yank her out of the way if needed. Hurt wing and all. Rita springs forward trying to for once prove herself in the capacity of bodyguard for her partner.]

Hey dude...What's up?

[No sense in being rude after all. Maybe he's a nice giant teddy bear]

[adventuremons]

[Monzaemon continues to stare at the Chosen, but the moment that Kovu takes off running, it speaks.]

Do not leave! You must stay here and play here! In Toy Town!

[It releases its hold on the balloons, letting them soar into the air.]

Hearts attack!

[Blue hearts fly from its belly towards the Chosen and their partners! Any who are caught in the hearts find themselves feeling drowsy, as well an overwhelming urge to stay and play.]

Look out!

[Fluttershy gasps, but the only reason she manages to avoid the hearts is Choco pushing her out of the way.]

[thescaronhisface]

[Kovu and Lopmon jump out of the way of the...lattack, and Kovu looks at his partner.]

What is that thing?!

[changelingdude]

[Beastboy yelped flailing and turning to run only to run into Rita. The two of them fell backwards and Beastboy was left to take the full brunt of the attack]

Duuuuuuuude

[He sits up looking dazed and yawning stretching his arms out.]

That wasn't so...bad.

[Rita is clearly more worried and tries to drag him out of the way.]

Noooo dude...dude we should like...wait and see what he has to say.

Beastboy just...you look weird, lets get out of here.

[adventuremons]

Stay and play! You must!

[Out of a nearby alley, a toy plane flies out and after Beastboy while Monzaemon stares at the others.]

You will stay!

[No longer thinking about Beastboy, Monzaemon fires lasers at the unaffected as it steps towards them.]

Blazing Fire!

[Choco shoots out pellets of fire, counteracting the lasers as Fluttershy shakes Beastboy, trying to snap him out of it.]

Beastboy...!

[thescaronhisface]

Blazing Ice!

[Lopmon counters the lasers that get too close to Kovu just like Choco did for Fluttershy, and stands in front of the three Chosen protectively.]

Snap out of it!

[Kovu kneels down next to Beastboy and just slaps him, knowing they don't have time to waste. If Beastboy doesn't respond to that he's just going to grab him and yank the girl's arm to get moving again.]

[changelingdude]

[His face made an audible slap and his eyes were spinning in place]

Duuude, that was like...not cool. He just wants to play right?

[Meanwhile Rita is trying to talk down the larger Digimon]

P-pardon us sir we just...we're not sure how we got here or where we are and we would very much like to return to our homes in Tokyo...

[adventuremons]

[The attacks simply dissipate when they hit Monzaemon, doing nothing more than leaving little marks on his body. He stomps closer to the Chosen before Rita's voice makes him stop.]

You cannot leave! You must stay and play! Hearts attack!

[Once more, blue hearts shoot out towards the Chosen their partners, hoping to ensnare them in the same feeling of wanting to stay.

Meanwhile, the little toy place circles above Beastboy, a wheel tapping against his head in passing every so often.]

[Fluttershy jumps out of the way, taking Beastboy with her.]

B-Beastboy...! P-Please snap out of it...!

[Meanwhile Choco is trying to counter the blue hearts with attacks of his own.]

[thescaronhisface]

You've gotta be kidding!

[Kovu snarls at the giant monster, just as Lopmon tries to counter the huge Digimon's attacks again.]

Lopmon, just kill him already!

What do you think I'm doing?!

[He sends out another blast of ice pellets, but they just bounce off Monzaemon's chest, doing next to nothing.]

[changelingdude]

[Beastboy is being dragged along by Fluttershy, thank goodness he doesn't weigh that much. He keeps taking swipes at the plane over his head to try and play with it.]

Heh heh heh, sweet plane dude~

[Rita is scurrying about trying to avoid all the blasts]

K-Kovu! You need to dig deep, connect with Lopmon and have a mutual goal! It's the only way to evolve.

[To try and help she starts dancing gracefully, spinning and bobbing, hopping around the heart beams creating colorful blocks that fly at Monzaemon]

[adventuremons]

Don't you want to stay and play here in Toy Town?!

[More steps are taken to close the distance, all attacks simply bouncing off it. It stares down at the ones unaffected by its Hearts Attack and fires more lasers from its eyes.]

[strengthinkindness]

[Fluttershy tugs at Beastboy, barely getting him out of the way of another laser attack. The narrow escape causes her Digivice to start glowing, and a similar light surrounds Choco, pushing him to Digivolve into Rabbitmon.]

Carrot Bomb!

[thescaronhisface]

Evolve?

[Kovu's face screws up, and then he stumbles backward when the other Lopmon is suddenly a lot bigger. He looks back to Rita, and jumps out of the way of more lasers.]

How am I supposed to do that?!

focus on what you both want!

I wanna plaaaaaay~

[now Beastboy is nuzzling Fluttershy adoringly hugging her close but still not helping as she drags him along]

You smell nice Shy!

[Rita grabs for the plane Beastboy was playing with and throws it at the bear]

[Monzaemon roars as its steps falter thanks to the carrot bomb attack. However, it manages to right it self rather quickly and stares down at the group, firing lasers once more from its eyes. The plane, however, just bounces off it before falling to the ground in several pieces.]
