Last month, there was no earthquake signalling new arrivals.

That's not a pattern; the ground quakes, the chutes in the Terminal Room activate, and Culumon trembles with excitement. There are so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners have arrived!

With Chosen disappearing every now and then, fresh faces will be very helpful.

OOC: Feel free to mark your characters in different locations! They can be just arriving in the Terminal Room you read about in the arrival post or anywhere on the map! Also feel free to mark the day for each thread. You can also request to play with Culumon, too! Have fun, guys!

[Leatherhead still needed to catch up with Impmon, who decided to run off without the big guy again. It was a game between the two and Impmon understood that sometimes the big guy liked space.

Impmon scours across the place when he spots Ratchet and the bear. Ugh, what nerds. The digimon realizes the best service he can give to these two is giving them a proper welcome.

By plopping right down in front of them, a sarcastic smirk across his face.]

Uh, yeah he does. He probably needs a shrink.

[By the Allspark, there's even more of them. Earth had an abundance of strange and unusual life, but most of them didn't talk back.] I think I've been shrunk enough, thank you.

I don't think that's what he means.

[Whatever. Ratchet waves them both aside.] Don't you have anything better to do? I certainly do!

Boy, you've got some learning to do.

[Impmon finds the old guy's confusion pretty amusing. He should do that whole confused routine like 24/7.]

Like what? Finding a way out? [Pfff.] Good luck with that, geezer!

I don't know what kind of trouble this world is supposed to be in, but I have worlds of my own to save, thank you very much!

Ratchet--

Even this old rustbucket has a few more things to do before he can even think of relaxing!

Calm down, he's just trying to wind you up!

[And almost immediately Leatherhead rushes over, giving Impmon a reprimanding look.

Hi uh, big awkward teen with feet and arm bandages here. Don't worry, they're not hurt.]

I am sorry. Impmon likes to tease, even when it is not wise to.

[Well, Bearmon has leather belts around his fists. So really, the bandages aren't that strange. Just concerning. A bit. Impmon was not the best person to place in front of Ratchet at the moment or ever, but the arrival of this new human seems to temper things a bit.]

This isn't a good time for teasing.

And it's not the best way to make friends.

[Ratchet crosses his arms and gives Bearmon a bit of a stare. Friends. Yeah, that is the farthest from Ratchet's mind right now.]

...I'm just saying...

[Leatherhead delivers the digimon another glare.]

[Who wants to see Impmon vs Ultra Magnus everybody raise their hands.]

I'm so glad my Chosen finally arrived! [Aw, Bearmon. He looks so unbearably happy. And Ratchet just cannot match that. At all. Does not, in fact, even make an attempt.] It feels like I've been waiting forever. I was just saying that transitioning to here tends to be hard on everyone--at, least, so far as I've seen. It's not something Impmon should be giving someone a hard time over. [Huff. So there.]

...I was there, now I'm here, in a strange body, with a bear claiming he's my partner. It's been a rough day. [To say nothing of what he was just coming from.]

[Hand raise.

Bearmon you need to calm down.]

How do you even contain all that sunshine?

[Whatever, Impmon just rolls his eyes.]

Dealing with it better than Heather on his first day.

[Oh Leatherhead feels great shame, hanging his head.]

[Bearmon's eternal quest will be to make Ratchet be visibly happy for more than two seconds at a time. I did say eternal.]

People deal in different ways. I'm a fan of ignoring right now, in place of dealing with it, for example. Presumably it will backfire on me in some spectacular fashion in a few hours.

...Are you sure you don't need a doctor?

[Ratchet sighs and runs a hand--through...his hair. There's hair he has hair that's so organic and human and that feels. Strange. Don't mind if he plays with his hair, just a bit, while he talks.] I can't imagine anyone ending up here, out of the blue, with the story they've given us, handling it well.

Wonder they don't come with a head doctor 'round here...

[He looks visibly remorseful of it. God, he threw such a temper tantrum it was awful.]

[Leatherhead might feel guilty about it, but hey, color Ratchet impressed.] You took out walls? I wasn't aware humans could have so much power in them.

Hey, he didn't actually throw you, did he? Mine just yells. He's adjusting.

[Impmon stop being such a dramadigi.]

...I did not either, until I entered this body.

[If his electronic parts were still in him, they would be pinging. Instead, he'll just have a metaphorical pinging in his head.]

This...isn't your body, then?

[So sorry, Ratchet. At least you're not alone.]

No, it is not. It was different before I arrived here.

So this is just something that this...digital world does to us, then? We are all required to look and act human?

What, did you think you'd come here as Digimon?

I think so...I did not think of it in that way.

[Ratchet picks at the clothing he was thankfully provided with.] This used to be metal, believe it or not. If size was an issue, I don't see why we couldn't just be...shrunken down. Surely that's not so much to ask for, if they can change our very species.

[A robot? Leatherhead has had bad luck with droids and bots.]

If I knew who was responsible, I would let them know in a way that cannot ignore.

And I would gladly follow you to do the same.

Does...hey, are you guys talking about fighting? We're supposed to be fighting the bad guys here.

[It is not the Optimus Prime way, but damn it, Ratchet is so out of his element and steamed up and out of sorts enough that he is totally down for some hurt.]

I don't see why not! This is--this is downright intergalactic kidnapping, and I don't even know what you would call this...new body nonsense.

I don't know if you guys know this, but there's still the deal with the evil threatening to destroy us all.

[Good lord, Impmon's the voice of reason.]

[The world has turned upside down! Ratchet lightly scoffs and waves that concern aside.] That's nothing new. If I were to go back home, I could deal with that evil threatening to destroy us all.

That's not--but this is home! Maybe it's not home to you yet, but it's home to us, and--and a lot of other people, too. And it's not just the digital world at stake, you know...

[Leatherhead shrugs as if it were just a fact.]
