Last month, there was no earthquake signalling new arrivals.

That's not a pattern; the ground quakes, the chutes in the Terminal Room activate, and Culumon trembles with excitement. There are so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners have arrived!

With Chosen disappearing every now and then, fresh faces will be very helpful.

OOC: Feel free to mark your characters in different locations! They can be just arriving in the Terminal Room you read about in the arrival post or anywhere on the map! Also feel free to mark the day for each thread. You can also request to play with Culumon, too! Have fun, guys!

Outside the terminal

*Dante's arrival had been...something. Normally his weapons and various magical items existed non-physically and only appeared when he needed them. As apparently magical storage didn't work here, he'd ended up buried by them as soon as he'd arrived. Not fun. But now he's gotten himself mostly sorted, with his sword on his back, Lucifer folded on the opposite shoulder, Gilgamesh on his hands and feet and carrying Pandora's Box like an ordinary briefcase.*

So, let's see if I've got all this straight. There's some screwed up gates or something, which are causing a bunch of different worlds to get squished together and this one, in its infinite wisdom is bringing in a bunch of different people, taking away any awesome powers they might have and asking them to lend a hand.

*The Coronamon following after him nods, tail flicking back and forth.*

You're our prophesied heroes, chosen by the world itself to save everyone.

Kid...if there's anything I've learned, it's that saving everyone ain't easy.

*Coronamon droops slightly, but Dante holds up a gauntleted finger.*

But that doesn't mean you shouldn't try, so points for spirit.

*Coronamon beams happily at that.*

Hey, does that mean you're some kind of hero?

Lesse...closed four hellgates, kicked the ass of the king of demons, saved the world more times than I can count...yup, sounds about right. Now come on, it's showtime.

[orphism]

[Close by is another new Chosen with his own partner, a DORUmon. He happens to overhear the conversation between the man and the Coronamon and he can't help but eavesdrop. Listening in, he can't help but be interested in the hero thing.]

I hope you got paid for doing all that.

*He looks over at the human and shrugs.*

Got paid for the last one, at least. First and second were family matters.

[orphism]

[It sounds perfectly normal until one remembers that hellgates and world saving was involved.]

Then you must have a very rambunctious family.

That's one way of putting it.

So I guess that's why you seem so calm about being here.

[Let's ignore the fact that he's the same.]

I'm Minato Arisato, by the way.

Part of it. You could say I've been around the block a few times. And the name's Dante.

[orphism]

Nice to meet you. Say hello, DORUmon.

[The digimon at his side doesn't respond, and instead is just staring at Dante. Closed Hellgates? Kicked demon ass? Saved the world?

He...he's amazing!]

What's the matter, kid? Cat got your tongue?

[orphism]

[It seems, indeed, that a Gatomon has her tongue. Instead of answering, she just hides behind her Chosen.]

Sorry. She seems to be shy.

[hellspawnedhero]

Not a problem.

*He crouches down, setting his briefcase on the floor and draping his arms casually over his legs.*

Don't worry kid, I ain't gonna bite.

Maybe she's just impressed.

[orphism]

[That seems to encourage her, and she steps out from behind Minato.]

Hi.

[Soooooo coooooooool]

*He gives a grin and takes off one of his clawed gauntlets before holding his hand out.*

Nice to meet ya.

[orphism]

[A handshake is a simple gesture, but it's one that baffles the digimon for a moment.]

Give him your paw.

[At that simple advice, DORUmon stretches out to do so, but having short arms makes this task harder than it would for those more fortunate in the arm department. In her efforts to reach, she manages not to headbutt Dante as she finally makes it to him.]

*He gives her paw a light shake, maybe a bit lighter than strictly necessary, as he's used to compensating for a lot more strength than he currently has, then pats her on the head.*

[He's got a pretty forceful handshake! To be expected of someone who is a demon slaying hero of justice!]

Nice to meet you too.

[Meanwhile, Minato is looking at Coronamon curiously.]
