Just in Time for the Movies.
Characters: Everyone! (Only new arrivals are allowed in the Terminal Room)
When: Starting August 4th, 2013
Where: Terminal Room or all over town!
What: An open mingle log for everyone to play in!
Last month, there was no earthquake signalling new arrivals.
That's not a pattern; the ground quakes, the chutes in the Terminal Room activate, and Culumon trembles with excitement. There are so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners have arrived!
With Chosen disappearing every now and then, fresh faces will be very helpful.
OOC: Feel free to mark your characters in different locations! They can be just arriving in the Terminal Room you read about in the arrival post or anywhere on the map! Also feel free to mark the day for each thread. You can also request to play with Culumon, too! Have fun, guys!

Re: on the city streets
Re: on the city streets
S-sorry, I don't think so well on my feet sometimes.
Re: on the city streets
What kind of-- uh "world"-- did you come from if your life is like a superhero cartoon?
[Getting used to this alternate world thing was going to take some work]
Re: on the city streets
That kind?
Re: on the city streets
My day just keeps getting weirder.
Re: on the city streets
So what's your world like?
Re: on the city streets
Compared to this place and the place you described? Completely and utterly normal.
Re: on the city streets
Re: on the city streets
Without supernatural abilities.
[Minus Akako, but he didn't have to bring her up now]
Can't say it's without magic, but it isn't the supernatural kind.
Re: on the city streets
I've never managed to be very good at that stuff--though I've always wanted to learn! I never got how they got the airplane on the stage without anyone noticing--I always have to cheat and teleport it on there.
Re: on the city streets
Eh? You've performed before? And-- oh c'mon, you can't use spell casting to cheat at stage magic like that! That defeats the point!
Re: on the city streets
...Ahaha, th-that's kinda dishonest, isn't it...
Re: on the city streets
If you're gonna try your hand at stage magic, at least make sure you know how to do it right.
[With a flick of his wrist, he produces a deck of cards from out of thin air]
Those people you knew back home were right to be impressed by it.
Re: on the city streets
[Congratulations Kaito, you now have an audience.]
Re: on the city streets
The point of stage magic-- and sleight-of-hand, too-- is to deceive and trick, but only to entertain. It's a test of one's dexterity, their ability to prove that the hand is quicker than the eye.
[He flicks a card off of the top of the deck and twirls it in between his finge-- wait where did the card go??]
Re: on the city streets
Re: on the city streets
It takes practice to perfect the skill. But you shouldn't disrespect the art form by introducing spell casting or actual teleportation into the equation.
Re: on the city streets
[Usually me.]
Re: on the city streets
Re: on the city streets
Re: on the city streets
So you must be talking about spell casting.
[A magician's stubborn refusal to admit that his magic isn't "actual" magic]
Re: on the city streets
They don't... really... consider... the sleight-of-hand and stage magic as part of supernatural phenomena. S-sorry.
Re: on the city streets
[He is silently grateful Akako is the only spell casting magic-user he knows back home. Imagine having to deal with a hundred witches or wizards at once]
And that much is okay. Sleight-of-hand isn't a supernatural phenomena. That's what makes it so impressive.
Re: on the city streets
Basically they keep someone from creating zombies to eat everyone.
And it really is impressive! I want to learn it.
