Last month, there was no earthquake signalling new arrivals.

That's not a pattern; the ground quakes, the chutes in the Terminal Room activate, and Culumon trembles with excitement. There are so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners have arrived!

With Chosen disappearing every now and then, fresh faces will be very helpful.

OOC: Feel free to mark your characters in different locations! They can be just arriving in the Terminal Room you read about in the arrival post or anywhere on the map! Also feel free to mark the day for each thread. You can also request to play with Culumon, too! Have fun, guys!

[Kaito lifts a foot and nudges Elecmon gently with it]

Oi, you've got my thingamajiger, check what room I'm in.

Do you want to sleep outside tonight?

[The Elecmon sighs]

[And after a few moments of fiddling with the D-Terminal to check Kaito's room assignment, the Digimon grins]

Well, well! Looks like this was a chance meeting in the street! We're housed on floor 2, room 9, too!

[Really? What luck! Truly a chance meeting indeed. DORUmon doesn't seem as pleased.]

Then we should have proper introductions, shouldn't we? I'm Minato Arisato.

[jackoclubs]

[Kaito blinks a few more times, still surprised that he happened to meet his new roommate on the street mere minutes after arriving. But once the surprise passes (and it passes quickly), he pulls up a grin]

I'm Kaito! Kuroba Kaito. Nice to meetcha, Arisato-san. Or is it Minato?

You can call me whatever you like. We're going to be living together from now on anyway.

[He doesn't mind people referring to him casually - it shows a sense of ease and familiarity that he would like people to feel while he's around them.]

I wonder if there's anyone else, though.

[jackoclubs]

Minato, then. I'm not big on formalities.

[Likewise, Kaito had always preferred approaching people casually, so it didn't take much convincing for him to default to Minato's first name]

As for the second part, I dunno. I guess we'll find out when we get there?

[If Kaito is going to use a first name basis, then Minato will do so as well.]

Y'know we're not gonna have a good partnership if you keep insulting me at every turn.

[He can't help but laugh a little at that.]

You never know, sometimes people who fight a lot make great partners.

Hey, if you're expectin' it, then the least you could do is try to prevent it!

I'm sure you'll both be fine.

[But secretly, he's kind of glad that he seems to be getting along with DORUmon well so far.]
