[Open] A Very Kratt-y Birthday

The night before had been spent getting the decorations up for the party, with Chris and Fluttershy and anyone else who had offered to help while Martin had been sleeping, in order to keep the whole party a surprise for him.

Fluttershy could only hope that all her experiences with Pinkie Pie's parties would help her make sure this one was successful. After all Chris and Martin had done for her recently, helping make Martin's birthday a special one was the least she could do.

(Quick mental check as she smiles back, taking Fluttershy's offered hand to get up: wings, working awesomely. Hands and feet, doing okay. Arms and legs, not too bad. Head, not as spinny like it was before...!) Nope! I'll be fine...it'll take a lot to hurt this Pegasus!

[She can't help laughing a little at that.] I know...though the human body does take a bit of getting used to.

(She laughs loudly herself, holding up her fingers and pulling them across both sides of her face and then up and down while making funny faces.) Yeah...! Pinkie Pie would have a blast!

[She nods.] Pinkie Pie would love it...Just think of all the games she'd want to play...

Yeah...and all the pranks we could pull...! (Except on Fluttershy; she gets a bye from pranking, a pre-set up Pinkie Pie rule.)

[She smiled a little.] You just have to be careful who you prank...not everyone here has a good sense of humor...

Hehe, yeah...gotta make sure the first one's tough enough to realize it's all in good fun... (It probably doesn't help that she already has somepony in mind.)

(Zaapp! Up close, eager expression on the Pegasus' face and in her eyes while not caring about personal space.) So, Fluttershy...did you get my presents for Hearth's Warming? Ha, I mean Christmas?

[She blinks, a little unnerved by how close Rainbow Dash suddenly is, but it's nothing really new.]

U-Um...? I don't think so...?

(Rainbow's earlier pout? Back within seconds.)

...Seriously?! But it's 2 days away!

(1.5 if the sun's set by this time.)

W-Well I...don't think I did... [She still takes a moment to think back.] Did you leave them somewhere for me...?

Wha-?! (Now Rainbow's confused, stepping back just enough to facepalm before adding:) ...How am I gonna leave the presents you got me? Yours are in my apartment!

(At least she didn't say where they were, not that she thought Fluttershy would try to find them. That was her job.)

Oh! [She blushes, embarrassed.] Oh, I'm sorry...I misunderstood...

Y-Yes, I have yours. I'm almost finished with it, I just have to...add a few finishing touches...

Awesome~! (She hugs Fluttershy again, still taking care to avoid her recovering wing.)

That's okay, this time of the year's crazy for everypony...yours is almost ready too; I just gotta...wrap it up along with the others...

[She laughs, still a little embarrassed as she returns the hug.] Mm...between making all the gifts for everyone, and then planning this surprise party...I guess I have been really busy...

Heh, don't worry about it...you've got tonight to take care of it, Flutters! Just try not to sleep in and wake up really late...

(Despite the fact you take naps every other day, actually set time in your schedule for naps...?)

That's true...Hopefully I'll have enough time to get everything finished after we're done cleaning up tonight...

How long is that gonna take? Normally we help Pinkie out before leaving back home in Ponyville...

[She's heard how Martin can get about cake sometimes.]

...Wait, seriously?! (She laughs at that one.) If he really does pull what Spike did, he might rampage all around the city collecting everything in sight!

(Just trying to picture it made her laugh harder.)

[She laughs.] I don't think it quite works that way for humans...
