New Arrivals: Let's Have Some Fun
Characters: Everyone! (Only new arrivals are allowed in the Terminal Room)
When: 4 MAY 2013
Where: Terminal Room or all over town!
What: An open mingle log for everyone to play in!
A calm had swept over Terminal Tokyo, as the Chosen Children had successfully repel the Beemon attack and began to clean up their city. All was well and life would go on, though some scars would take a while to heal. But as the saying goes, there is no rest for the weary.
Another earthquake tore through the Digital World. One on the scale of the one that had brought so many of the current Chosen to the Digtal World. Once again, dozens of Chosen were making their way to the Digital World. Destiny was calling once more and so were their partners...
Every chute in the Terminal Room activated while the small Digimon known as Culumon trembled with excitement. There were so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners had arrived!
OOC: Feel free to mark your characters in different locations! They can be just arriving in the Terminal Room you read about in the arrival post or anywhere on the map! Also feel free to mark the day for each thread. You can also request to play with Culumon, too! Have fun, guys!

But of course his eyes move to the source of the noise, focusing on a particular flash of orange.]
Now this complicates things.
Have you seen someone you know?
...Hmmm. Life's full of little surprises, though this is a touch too coincidental.
What do you mean by that? Friends are good, right?
Oh, I suppose. Can you tell me the name of the Digimon with the boy with orange hair?
That's a Terriermon!
....Fascinating.
You seem kind of sad...
Do you think so?
Yes...
no subject
Hey, Neku! That guy over there is giving you the creeper-eye...
[He looks over and stiffens in shock, jerking on instinct, as if slammed by a phantom bullet. The movement makes him hiss as his knee moves awkwardly]
Whoa! Don't break your other leg!
It's not broken, now shut it.
[He steps down, carefully, and approaches... but stalls a few meters away, unable to bring himself to confront his ex-Partner]
no subject
Very sharp, Viximon. I suppose it can't exactly be helped.
That boy looks like he's seen a ghost.
[A small laugh is the only answer his digimon is getting to that, and he turns around, surveying Neku with his all-too-sharp eyes. Viximon bounces toward Terriermon, offering the Rookie a bright, well meaning smile.]
Hello!
[Joshua merely glances to Viximon's interaction, and then back to Neku. Oh, he's smiling. And his voice is as cheerful as one can get. But the smile isn't anything close to as bright as Viximon's. His voice isn't anything close to well-meaning. Obviously, this Neku recognizes him... ]
...Howdy.
no subject
Yo!
[Neku on the other hand feels like his organs have just been dunked in cold water from that damned smile.]
You... [he points at Joshua, trying to remind himself of what little Mr. H had told him. That Joshua had fixed everything in the end. But he can't bottle up all the hurt from those three weeks] .. are an asshole.
[Annnnd he turns for a dramatic exit- only for Terriermon to flick out an ear without even looking up and lightly thump his injury, making the boy whine in dismay and cutting off his escape]
no subject
That is, until Terriermon's stand starts walking off. Joshua's hands move to his back pockets when he's pointed at, his gaze, just for a second, more than slightly venomous even though he's so very amused. ]
...
[And ouch. That looked like it hurt. He can't help a small, soft giggle escaping him. Many thanks, Terriermon.]
My, my. That looks like quite the injury. Not like you didn't deserve it though. It's hardly polite to just flounce off when our digimon were talking. How very inconsiderate of you.
Ah, it's really okay-
No, no! It's not like you don't have feelings.
But...
Go ahead. Continue.
Okay...
no subject
[Terriermon jumps down to talk more face to face with Viximon, looking smug as can be]
You.... little brat! [...who can say who that's pointed towards at this point?]
no subject
So, if you're over that whole thing, shall we take a walk?
[It's not exactly like he wants either of their newfound friends to pick up on anything. Not quite yet. He's a being used to other worlds and other parallels, and more than aware of things not exactly being prudent to bring up. And since he doesn't take no for an answer~]
...After you.
no subject
Come on. Keep an eye on... the fox thing while we're gone, Terriermon.
no subject
All right. Have fun.
You as well!
[And a short walk later, pointed staring at a few what-were-landmarks later, and...]
Say, Neku. How long have you been here...?
[Long enough to procure a soapbox, megaphone and a minor injury, it seems.]

[A small pause as he looks at one of the buildings again. Okay, the likeness is uncanny. He frowns, markedly.]
...
Anyway, I'm sure you're quite aware, but this place appears to obey similar laws to the UG. While we're encoded soul there, we're encoded data here. Fascinating, hm?
no subject
It's just not worth it to rail against being here when I could be using the time getting things done is all.
[He follows Joshua's gaze]
And yeah, I noticed. The people brought aren't just brought in from "our" world either. There's.... layers or something, like a wedding cake falling in on itself.
no subject
[Especially given the fact their brand new friends might take exception to the fact he in particular never feels like playing nice. For what he's seen, Digimon are certainly the majority...
But a laugh.]
...Nice analogy.
It's hardly as if data, or soul conversion is anything new or unique. Every time we fought in the Noise plane, our values were converted to be there. It's just one of those things. But if the code can be cracked...
[That building. Again. It's not as if he knows what part of Tokyo they're in, since this is definitely not the Shibuya ward and it's not like he's ever left some version of Shibuya, but... ]
...The architecture here is very 21st century Tokyo. Maybe the Digimon at the terminal was right.
no subject
[He sighs]
There's a lot of places here I recognize... almost nothing from Shibuya though. I looked.
no subject
[A small pause. And he frowns. In regard to Shibuya, he's at least grateful that some parallel of it hasn't been wedding caked.]
Mhm. Looks like the people didn't quite fit in with the whole "energy in an isolated system remaining constant" thing. Or maybe they did, and something else happened to them after... whatever this is happened. Other than Digimon, it's pretty dead. Almost apocalyptic.
