Last month had been relatively calm, with only a new Dark Area being found.

But once again, that calm was disrupted.  For the third consecutive time, an earthquake tore through the Digital World. One on the scale of the one that had brought so many of the current Chosen to the Digtal World. Once again, dozens of Chosen were making their way to the Digital World. Destiny was calling once more and so were their partners.  Mayhaps even some of the Choosen that have been here for a while, have predicted this to happen, today.

Every chute in the Terminal Room activated while the small Digimon known as Culumon trembled with excitement. There were so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners had arrived!

[You know what's more confusing than arriving here? Arriving here just when you thought you were going to be free from repeating the same five days over and over. Lillet's not sure what's going on, really, as she has yet to read the letter fully (her arms are full at the moment with her grimoires), but for now, she's trusting the word of her... partner, as the Digimon referred to herself, Coronamon, as the lion-like Digimon leads the way for Lillet.]

Don't worry! Once you get a chance to set those books down, just read over the letter you got! It'll explain everything you need to know.

He's right, you know. Well... more or less. [Rude to butt in? Preposterous! Clearly it is okay when there is someone who you can help with the information. Ed gives a little nod.]

You also need to stay out of any holes in time and space that lead to nowhere, but that's kind of common sense. You're new here?

Yes, I am; in all honesty... I'd dismiss this as a dream, but I know better than to assume things like that, now.

My name's Lillet, Lillet Blan. I just arrived probably less than an hour ago, I think. Coronamon has been guiding me so far, but it's a lot to take in.

Lillet Blan..? [He stores the name alongside the rest of the names he knows.] Okay, it's great to meet you! Call me Ed! Guilmon is my partner, and she's around... somewhere...

[Specifically, she is currently over at a burger stand getting something to eat a short distance away.]

A-anyways, if there's any questions you have, let me know. I've been around for a couple of months now, and I can say it's d-definitely not a dream.

Well, to start with, what exactly is the Digital World? Coronamon was trying to explain to me, but I don't think I entirely get it.

[Lillet didn't want to leave the grimoires out of her sight, so as soon as she had grabbed her Digivice and D-Terminal, with Coronamon holding onto anything else, she had set off into the city, books in arm.]

I'm afraid that today is the first time I'm hearing about such things...

Lillet comes from a world with magic and dragons! [He's heard a condensed version of events (with lots of details omitted) from Lillet so far.]

Oh! Me too, but we have computers and stuff too... Do you--[Wait. Maybe now isn't the best time to go harassing her about her world.]

A-anyways. A computer is basically a special box that holds information. It can send it to other computers by a 'network.' It's like magic, only it works entirely on electrical signals.

It sounds confusing... but I think I'm starting to understand, if only a little bit.

[then_there_were_none]

[There's an excited little gasp, followed by an equally excited little girl's voice. A little blonde girl has bounced--quite literally, she's still skipping--over to Lillet. At first she thought this person was Marisa--but no, her eyes were the wrong color. But she had a stack of books that looked like the ones Patchouli had in her library, which got Flandre all excited again.]

Oh, oh--mademoiselle! Where did you get all of those?

[Her wings are flapping excitedly!

...and not doing a whole lot besides making a tinkling noise, like windchimes might. But, well, habits and all. Her Digimon partner seems absent at the moment, but the frantic barking from somewhere behind her might explain where it was.]

[Lillet isn't entirely caught offguard by the sudden attention from Flandrr- she's used to all sorts of things by now- but she didn't expect to be asked about the grimoires.]

These? They're... part of my studies, or well, that's what they're technically for, anyways. I'm a magician... a student, that is.

[then_there_were_none]

[Flandre almost bounced in place, as if she had discovered something.]

So you are like Marisa! Or like how Patchouli must have been a long time ago. Did you get the books from Patchouli?

[Her interrogation is interrupted when the frantic barking materializes into a Salamon, blustering up to her with still more barking.]

There you are! Don't run off like that, you scared me!

Patchouli...? No, I didn't; I don't think I've ever heard of her before, to be honest. Was she a student at the Silver Star Tower, too?

[Lillet doubts it, as she's certain it would have come up during one of the time loops. On the other hand, Flandre admittedly looks like she'd fit right in along with everyone else, so... who knows?]

[then_there_were_none]

[Flandre picks up Salamon, and its barking turns into startled yips for a moment as it wiggles around, both trying to escape but also trying not to hurt her. Eventually it settles for just making itself more comfortable curling its floppy paws over her arms.

Flandre doesn't really notice, too occupied with talking to this new person.]

No, she's Remi's friend. She lives in the mansion's library. Marisa comes along to take books from her sometimes. What's your name?

I'm Lillet, Lillet Blan. [She'd curtsy, but her arms are full.]

It's nice to meet you, erm...

I'm Flandre! Hello Lillet.

[The creature in her arms wiggles again and whines plaintively.]

Can I get down, now?

[Flandre blinks, looks down the short distance from her nose to Salamon's head, then does so.]

Oh, sorry.

Where are you going to put all the books? Is there a library here, too?

It's nice to meet you then, Flandre.

[Ahh...] A library? I'm not sure if there is one here or not, but I was hoping to take them to my room... wherever that is.

Hey, are you okay?

[A girl approaches Lillet, followed closely by what appears to be a younger human at first - until you notice the feathery wings sprouting from her back and even above her ears. The Lucemon's face mirrors the expression of the girl that spoke up - a look of worry and concern.]

Are you lost?

I'm really confused right now, to be honest. A lot of things were happening before I arrived here that have me seriously questioning what's happening.

Well, if you have questions, I can try to answer them. I haven't really been here that long, though, so I might not be that great of a help. [She turns to look at the digimon behind her.] You'll help too, right Lucemon?

[Lucemon nods.] Yes, of course.

Well... what exactly are we here for? Coronamon already explained that it was to help save this world, but... there isn't something else to it, as well?

Not that I know of. I've been here for a month, and things have been pretty easygoing... so far, it doesn't seem like the people here have some ulterior motive.

So... I think we just have to kind of get used to how things are around here, until this mysterious threat we were brought here for surfaces.

... I was afraid of as much. [Lillet sighs, though she's not sure if it would have been easier to accept or not if there had been.]

But like I said, this place hasn't been bad, from what I've seen... so it could be worse, right? At least they're not heaving us to fend for ourselves... we even get our own rooms for free here.

That's definitely a relief to hear, then... I think I've gotten pretty used to solving things on my own, but I'm glad to know we have somewhere to stay.
