Last month, there was no earthquake signalling new arrivals.

That's not a pattern; the ground quakes, the chutes in the Terminal Room activate, and Culumon trembles with excitement. There are so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners have arrived!

With Chosen disappearing every now and then, fresh faces will be very helpful.

OOC: Feel free to mark your characters in different locations! They can be just arriving in the Terminal Room you read about in the arrival post or anywhere on the map! Also feel free to mark the day for each thread. You can also request to play with Culumon, too! Have fun, guys!

[The earthquake meant new arrivals, right? That was how it was the last time it happened. The last time it happened, Yuuko had arrived, as well.

But Yuuko wasn't here anymore. Nor were Orine or Makoto.

Still, that doesn't discourage Sonata from at least holding out hope that she'll see someone else she knows- maybe Suzuko, or even her sister. Penguinmon's been doing his best to discourage Sonata from getting her hopes up toomuch- he doesn't need her moping around the place again, even if he misses when she wasn't speaking to him.

As Chosen and penguin make their way through the park, Sonata has to do a double-take when she spies Fuuko with her own Penguinmon. As far as Sonata knew, hers was the only one she had ever seen.]

Ah! You have a penguin, too!

[Penguinmon's flailing around at this point. What in the Digital World was going on with Fuko? No matter what the Digimon does, she can't get her partner out of this state.]

[Which is why she was more relieved when she saw another human and her partner approaching. Maybe this human knows how to fix Fuko.]

I get the feeling she can't hear you Miss. Actually, I think my partner may be broken.

Broken? [Headtilt. Hmm... maybe...] Ah! Maybe Sonata can fix her!

You will do no such thing--

[Sorry Penguin but being an overbearing nanny hasn't worked on Sonata so far and never will, as she's already stepping forward to try shaking Fuko--!]

No wait that won't-

Wah! [The sudden yell from Fuko startled Penguinmon, quickly turning her head to see that in a split second Fuko had broken from her trance-like state and was hiding behind the bench, peaking her head out very obviously.]

Are you...an enemy of Fuko's? [Fuko's POV: suddenly stop thinking about starfish to see a strange but cute girl moving in menacingly. Clearly the best course of action was to hide.]

Huh? No way! Sonata's an idol. [And idols are... the good guys!]

Sonata's an idol? Well, idols are nice on the tv. [Of course, idols from her world are just idols and don't usually save the world. But it is enough to get Fuko to come out of hiding, though she's pretty quiet and awkward without a defensive barrier in front of her.]

[But then she saw not one but two of her partner.]

Ah! There's two Penguinmons! She's multiplying!

Fuko that's not it at all.

[A long suffering sigh from Sonata's own partner. Why did he agree to going out with Sonata to look for the new arrivals?]

No way! Slowpoke is different.

I thought we agreed to stop calling me that.

He's all bossy and boring- he keeps telling me not to do this or that!

Slowpoke? [Blink blink. Wait a minute.] I thought your name was Penguinmon.

It is. Slowpoke is his nickname. [Guess the name's official.]

Does Penguinmon have a nickname too?

You're the one who's supposed to give me a nickname Fuko.

Fuko is?! [So much responsibility! Sorry Sonata, Fuko's lost in her conversation.]

[Suddenly jumps conversation partners.] Your help is greatly appreciated. However, Fuko already has a list of candidates forming in Fuko's brain.

I'm afraid of where this is going.

Really? What kind of names? Sonata wants to know!

It is? [Legitimately surprised at that info.] This may be harder than Fuko thought.

Hm... what about... Pengin?

All you're doing is pronouncing 'penguin' differently.
