Just in Time for the Movies.
Characters: Everyone! (Only new arrivals are allowed in the Terminal Room)
When: Starting August 4th, 2013
Where: Terminal Room or all over town!
What: An open mingle log for everyone to play in!
Last month, there was no earthquake signalling new arrivals.
That's not a pattern; the ground quakes, the chutes in the Terminal Room activate, and Culumon trembles with excitement. There are so many lonely Digimon that had appeared recently and--finally-- their partners have arrived!
With Chosen disappearing every now and then, fresh faces will be very helpful.
OOC: Feel free to mark your characters in different locations! They can be just arriving in the Terminal Room you read about in the arrival post or anywhere on the map! Also feel free to mark the day for each thread. You can also request to play with Culumon, too! Have fun, guys!

Re: on the city streets
[Except then Kaito happened... and yep. That sure is a chosen your digimon just bowled over in the act of jumping over a bench in this merry chase scene. Ed goes falling off of it and flat on his face, dizzied by the force of hitting the ground.]
W-weeehh.... Did somebody get the number of that truck..?
Re: on the city streets
[Elecmon takes a few more steps before he stops and turns around, gaze washing over the two Chosen now sprawled against the ground]
Tsk. . . how ungraceful.
I'll show you ungraceful. . . [Kaito grumbles as he pushes himself up into a sitting position and rubs his hand against his face. Thankfully, he had taken worse falls in his lifetime, so it only took him a second to recover from this spill and address Ed]
-- oi, are you okay?
Re: on the city streets
I'm fine. Just fine.
Nice to meet you. My name's Ed.
You just landed, right?
Re: on the city streets
[Kaito reaches out to help Ed up, though he pauses when he notices those injuries]
Just landed, literally and figuratively. Sorry 'bout that, I didn't see you on the bench.
[Pauses for a moment]
You sure you're okay? You look like you've been through the wringer.
Re: on the city streets
Don't worry, it's not a common occurrence. [He reaches his hand up towards Kaito.] I'm just reckless.
Re: on the city streets
Uh huh. Y'know, when you put it that way, it makes it sound like it happens all of the time.
Re: on the city streets
Well... It's pretty common, just only for me. Nobody else has ever been in a dark field twice.
...Don't go in one if you can help it, by the way. It hurts.
Re: on the city streets
A dark what?
[Great. Even more unfamiliar terms. Like all of the ones that Izumi kid had spouted off weren't bad enough]
Re: on the city streets
Basically it's a hole that opens up in the world and leads into nothingness. You'll know it if you ever see it, and if you do ever see it just. Please, don't fall in.
Re: on the city streets
Right. I'll add mysterious voids that lead into nothingness to my list of things to be on the lookout for.
Re: on the city streets
I'm serious. These wounds are from being in one.
Re: on the city streets
I know you're serious. But think about it for a bit-- I just got here, some bratty red rabbit who's supposed to be my "partner" stole a device that's supposed to be mine, and no one's been able to show me the exit yet. And now you're telling me I have to keep an eye out for giant voids of nothingness?
Oh, whine more, why don't you.
[With a scowl, Kaito brings his hand down on Elecmon's head and gives him a noogie]
Re: on the city streets
I guess you're right. Sorry. I didn't think of it like that.
[He nods a little, then frowns.] But there isn't an exit... at least, not one that anyone knows about.
Re: on the city streets
[Kaito swiftly cuts Elecmon off by shoving his hand in the Digimon's face]
So I've been told. But that just means you guys haven't found it yet.
[His grumpiness fades a bit as he talks, replaced with a bit of confidence]
For every entrance into some place, there are at least three different exits.
Re: on the city streets
Some of my friends did too...
Re: on the city streets
[That's just about as worrying as vast chasms of nothingness]
Re: on the city streets
Re: on the city streets
Y'know, with everything I'm learning about this place, I feel like I've been dragged straight into a Saturday morning cartoon.
Re: on the city streets
...what are they like?
Re: on the city streets
Oh, y'know, some unsuspecting hero is dragged into a quest to save the world. Supernatural powers are usually involved. Sometimes weird monsters that act as familiars are, too.
[jerks a thumb towards Elecmon]
Re: on the city streets
...that's basically 'my life.' I mean. Aside from me not being a hero.
Re: on the city streets
Your life here, or your life back home?
Re: on the city streets
Yyyyes?
Re: on the city streets
It was a question that prompted an either-or answer, not a yes or not.
